LA-based newcomer Joe Rico releases debut single “Stoked“.
Hey. You’re gonna like this song! It’s quality, it’s catchy, it’s feel good, and Joe Rico has energy that stands out. His debut song “Stoked” is a song about your average day… the kind of day that is totally relatable. On this track he reminds us “the best things in life are free”. We need more of that, and I am happy to vibe with Joe Rico this morning. “Stoked” was co-produced with GRAMMY-nominated industry favourite Imad Royal. Imad has a phenomenal ear for what’s on the verge and has worked with everyone from Doja Cat to Panic! and Oliver Tree. Imad says;
“When I listened to Joe for the first time I was blown away. He had such a fresh perspective on alternative music that felt very effortless and genuine. After jumping on a FaceTime with him to get to know him more, I quickly realized that he had the special sauce and was very passionate about his music. Joe Rico seems to be the type of artist that really gives a damn about quality, and gives us a fresh yet classic sound on “Stoked”, there is a rhythm in this song that really gets you (likely a result of his knack for the drums). This year he plans to hone in and focus on music, hoping to support his mom who owns a local hair salon in Kern County, CA. I personally, am very excited to hear what Joe Rico has for us next. This one is for joints in the Summer sun, dancing in your bedroom, or something to listen to on your way to pick up burritos for you and your roommates.
