Edinburgh-based alternative R&B artist Xavier LaCroix shares stunning new single “walk away”
One of the most annoying things unsigned artists do is submit their music to blogs without a press release or some sort of artist biography. These artists tend to get ignored— unfortunately. However, there’s a handful of artists that can just about get away with this thanks to the quality of their music, like Venezuelan-born, Edinburgh-based alternative R&B artist Xavier LaCroix who has just unveiled his first release of the year “walk away”.
Taken from his upcoming EP SELFISH, which is due for release in September, he explores falling in and out of love and feeling trapped in a toxic cycle. Built over a brilliant production, LaCroix’s soul-drenched vocals and stunning harmonies reminiscent of artists such as Frank Ocean, THEY. and LUCA instantly draws you in and hints at greatness to come from this talented artist.
