Valley Sixteen Shines On New Single “Borderline”

Frankfurt-based South African indie pop artist Valley Sixteen shines on new single “Borderline”, taken from her debut EP Apartment Flaws.

The 20 year-old singer, songwriter and producer was born in Cape Town, South Africa and is currently based in Frankfurt, Germany. Today she has released her debut EP Apartment Flaws, and it features the focus track “Borderline”. Built over a mesmerising guitar-infused production, Valley Sixteen delivers a passionate vocal performance on a song which touches on a relationship she was in before she left home. In this particular relationship she was often labeled as the villain due to her mental health. Beautifully-written and enjoyable from start to finish, she takes ownership of her mental health and makes peace with the sensitivity she feels towards the world around her. Emotionally-driven with an infectious hook, “Borderline” is a song that will resonate with many listeners out there. Check out her debut EP here.
