tmdistant — what’s wrong with you

Essex, UK emerging artist tmdistant delivers emotional new single “what’s wrong with you”

In just under a year, 19 year-old singer, songwriter and occasional rapper tmdistant has already garnered attention from outlets and tastemakers such as EARMILK, Early Rising, Fashionably Early, DUMMY and more, as well as editorial support on Spotify (Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds: Pop, hyperpop and bitrate) and radio play on BBC Music Introducing and Reprezent Radio.

He continues his latest chapter of intimate storytelling paired with catchy melodies on his new single “what’s wrong with you”— an emotionally-charged track which effortlessly blends melodic rap and emo pop with sprinkles of hyperpop.

The accompanying music video shot by Sorin D. Visuals also continues the previous storyline where he escapes his kidnappers, and gives an Oscar-worthy performance in a South London phone booth.

“I get blinded by a lot of things. I always say I’m not emotional and I’m usually not but in some situations I become so stupid and I’m a sucker for answering calls even after I’ve said I’m not answering anymore. Love is so strong. You end up so blind to everything, you forget to take care of yourself, until you end up in a hole and they either pick you up or leave you there”tmdistant.

tmdistant headlines the Camden Assembly this summer, get your tickets here.
