“I wrote this while I was thinking about times where people have seen me in a bad state of myself and found somebody else to confide in and find comfort in, then neglect me and my emotions because it’s ’too much’ for them. A lot of the time people up and leave once things get tough instead of sticking with people and what they might call home which is why they’re ‘looking for another place to stay’. The last couple years I’ve seen so many people be happy with where they are and who they’re with then the next day switch. That’s one thing I hate the most, people who give up on others so easily and it’s happened to me my whole life. So I decided to put that into a song. And I hope people hear it and find some comfort in knowing that everyone has their moments of solidarity.” — tmdistant.
