Dynamic alt-drill duo Tm & Remy return with new single “Of Course”
We live in an era where rap artists release music all the time, sometimes just to please their fans or to stay relevant. Tm & Remy on the other hand took a risk by spending the past year refining their sound to create impactful and well-conceived tracks. They worked with a plethora of producers from all around the world, hoping they find their own unique sound, and they have. Alt-Drill, a combination of alt-rap and UK drill, is something they’ve already showcased with their comeback single “WACK!” — a hard-hitting track where they call out their haters.
On their latest offering “Of Course”, they showcase their melodic flows and dynamic lyricism over a hard-hitting production by 6sezen and goodbyechase— it’s another energetic banger that will not only stick with listeners but also open up mosh pits at shows.
“We sat on the instrumental for a couple of months wanting to do a song to it but never got to it until after our first show back since lockdown, seeing the energy we received, especially the reaction on WACK! We decided we should make another one with the same sound. So of course, no pun intended, we went back to the instrumental and made the song over FaceTime. We went for the confident show energy that we portray at these shows and wanted to put that on the song, “You know about my team, of course” and also wanted to show our team efforts as we do this as a team” — Remy Saint.
