As guitar music started to sadly fade away from the mainstream music scene, most indie rock bands such as Imagine Dragons begun infusing pop and electronic music to stay relevant. Nonetheless, there is still countless of emerging rock bands out there and one of them is the London-based four piece band The Riversiders.
Their debut single “Homesick” is about yearning for a lost love, or an absent lover, and the tension between wanting to express those feelings while being shy to admit to them. It’s a thoroughly enjoyable debut single and definitely one to add to your Valentine’s Day playlist.
