TANISAKO — Fire

Japanese-American singer, songwriter and producer TANISAKO drops captivating new single “Fire”

Today, we’d like to introduce you to 22 year-old emerging artist TANISAKO (born Ethan Rupp), an artist inspired by powerhouse singers such as Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, and innovative songwriters like Lorde and The Neighbourhood. He’s known for blending real life experiences in his music with imaginative, apocalyptic stories to convey surreal feelings, whether it’s catharsis, freedom, angst, love or euphoria.

His latest offering “Fire” is a captivating electronic-centred track which effortlessly combines soul, pop and indie music. And yes, there is an apocalyptic vibe here as well— production wise, “Fire” gives us similar vibes we got when we first heard Imagine Dragon’s hit single “Radioactive”, but with more soul. This sounds like something you’d hear in a blockbuster movie/tv series.
