Susannah Joffe shares stunning new single “Deer in Headlights”
Emerging indie artist Susannah Joffe makes her DNü debut with her stunning new single “Deer in Headlights”, which is taken from her forthcoming EP— a project that will be accompanied by powerful vertical videos for each song that will provide a unique visual experience for her audience.
Written from the perspective of a roadkill, she cleverly critiques the treatment of women in our society and exposes the dark underbelly of Christian nationalism. Her vocals is a perfect fit here, flowing beautifully over the Ben Coleman-produced track to create a captivating sound that echoes the energy of New York’s post-punk DIY scene combined with the evocative styles of artists like Ethel Cain and Soccer Mommy.
