Stream Issey Cross’ Debut EP ‘Mirrors Don’t Lie’

Highly rated London-based newcomer Issey Cross has unveiled her debut EP Mirrors Don’t Lie.

The highly rated Issey Cross started 2021 with a bang, she wasn’t playing when she dropped the outstanding debut single “Who” back in January— one of the best debut singles we’ve heard in recent years. She followed that up with “Boys Make Promises”, and in the space of just two months she’s already garnered acclaim from the likes of The Line of Best Fit, BBC Radio 1, DAZED, Notion, Wonderland and many more platforms. Today, she’s unveiled her debut EP Mirrors Don’t Lie which features new songs “Jaded”, “Funfair” and a beautifully-sung acoustic version of “Boy Make Promises”. Featuring production from Ebenezer, and P2J, Cross showcases her stunning vocals and intelligent songwriting, as well as her edgy left-pop sound. Although it feels like the EP came out too soon, the younger generation consumes music differently now, and it seems reasonable for Issey Cross to showcase her immense potential now while she has built a buzz, instead of later down the line. A star is born, and she’ll be here for a long time. Remember the name.
