Brooklyn-based artist Shalom releases “Lighter”, final single from her forthcoming debut project Sublimation
Raised in South Africa, and based in Brooklyn, emerging artist Shalom has been a breath of fresh air within the indie rock and alternative scene. She’s been super consistent recently, releasing outstanding singles such as “Happenstance” and “Soccer Mommy” — both singles landed on multiple editorial playlists on Spotify and Apple Music.
“Lighter” is the final single taken from her forthcoming debut project Sublimation which is out on 10th March via Saddle Creek. Accompanied by a stunning animated lyric video by Rory Alene, the video features Shalom walking around her college town, New Brunswick, NJ, wishing she was someone else. Although she may sadly feel like that, her song has not only connected with us, it has also filled us with so much joy.
