British/Scottish singer, songwriter and producer Scholesy started out in indie bands but then decided to ditch guitars in favour of an electronic-infused sound that takes inspiration from artists such as James Blake, Kanye West and Frank Ocean. His new single “Oublieux” is a self-produced record that combines a plethora of genres effectively but still maintains an emo rap and electronic vibe with a hint of indie rock throughout similar to the likes of Darci, Post Malone, Paris Shadows and many more. Definitely one to watch.
“When writing Oublieux I tried to capture a feeling of uncertainty and anxiety about growing up and relationships” — Scholesy.
