Providence, Rhode Island-based singer, songwriter and producer Rosé Petal makes her long awaited return with new single “2:Am”.
Emerging artist Rosé Petal may not release music consistently like many other artists on the rise, but when she does release new music, it’s often refreshing to our ears. She has this hauntingly beautiful and alluring voice that effortlessly matches her productions. Her latest offering “2:Am” is her first release since March last year, when she dropped the thumping “Out of Blue”.
On “2:Am” she infuses dark pop and electronic R&B well — it’s a sound in the same lane as the likes of Darci, Always Never, Sidi, Natalie and more. The song explores the clarity of a power dynamic of means of an end, touching on the wants of the heart and the needs of the soul. She found inspiration from Proverbs 4:23 throughout the writing session. Overall, the single is an enjoyable listen from start to finish, and we’re hoping to hear more from Rosé this year.
