Leicester-based singer, songwriter and rapper Queen Millz shows promise on new single “Money”.
There’s so many artists outside London who are criminally slept on, Leicestershire-born artist Queen Millz is definitely one of them. Having kick started her career back in 2017 with the hazy hip-hop banger “Can’t Be Nice”, she eventually explored other genres such as Grime on “Rahted” and R&B on “Come Over”. It was pretty evident she was still trying to find a sound that would define her as an artist. Her latest offering “Money” is a solid effort showcasing her razor sharp and unique delivery over the Deyaz produced beat — matching perfectly. There’s a significant improvement in lyricism and flow, and the song itself has an appealing sound that will attract new listeners.
“Money” is just a first taste of an upcoming body of work — she sounds confident throughout the single as she touches on a subject that will connect with many people right now. Queen Millz is a promising artist with immense potential, and I won’t be surprised if she becomes a star in the near future. Press play.
“The world is so materialistic, at the moment, but what I do is make the best out of what I’ve got and still look flashy, without spending loads” — Queen Millz.
