German newcomer PENNY X unveils debut single “faster”
Newcomer PENNY X grew up in a rural area of German called the Black Forest, after high school she lived in different cities, and she even spent some time abroad in Chicago and Nashville, before eventually settling in Berlin.
Drawing inspiration from artists such as Taylor Swift, Fletcher, Lennon Stella and Tate McRae, she creates alternative pop music with elements of rock and indie. Those genres are effortlessly combined on her debut single “faster”— the first single taken from her forthcoming debut EP due for release at the end of the year.
Led by a stunning vocal performance and relatable lyrics detailing a breakup, jealousy and hurt egos, PENNY X has delivered a solid debut single that fits the current soundscape.
