Toronto-born Dutch singer-songwriter NOA shares her latest single “Motions”.
Known for blending vibrant, catchy melodies with resonant emotional themes, emerging artist NOA has worked with the likes of Ryan Tedder (One Republic) and Scott Borchetta (Big Machine Records) while on Season 2 of Canadian reality music competition The Launch.
With two impressive releases last year (“Caught Up” and “Hypocritical”), she returns with the smooth new single “Motions” — a post-breakup anthem that takes you through the journey of post-breakup thoughts and how it feels to be on your own for the first time. It’s a beautifully-sung R&B song with sprinkles of pop co-written with her good friend Jonathan Asperil, who also handled production.
“I wrote “Motions” on Valentine’s Day last year, on a cloudy day back in LA for the first time following a breakup. Being back in the city that felt like him made me think about all the peaks and valleys of our relationship, the good and the bad” — NOA.
