Australian artist Nicole Millar is back with new single “Favours”, the much anticipated follow up to her 2018 debut album Excuse Me, which spawned the viral hit “Blindfolded” and “Tremble”. It’s an unapologetic pop gem produced by Kilter, that marks the debut of a bold new era. Despite having a cheeky vibe, the song is personal as she address a dark period of her life where she encountered both loss and heartbreak — a sentiment that most of us can relate to.
“I had a bit of a rough year with a lot of changes. ‘Favours’ is a song about how I’ve got no praise, or money left for this person. [Muki and I] really hit it off and couldn’t stop talking about everything that had been going on in our lives. It just became clear to write a song about this person that had made my life dull… but have a cheeky bounce to it” — Nicole Millar.
