LA-based newcomer KENI unveils captivating new single “Proximity”.
After impressing us with her last single “Sid and Nancy”, 19 year-old emerging indie pop artist KENI is back with another captivating track, “Proximity”. It’s a love song with a dark edge where she showcases her alluring breathy vocals over a lush production, as well as her impressive songwriting ability. The accompanying music video, a nod to early 2000’s music videos brings the song to life and for someone like myself, it takes me back to a time when the likes of Britney Spears ruled the music charts. Overall, “Proximity” is a beautifully-written song with infectious melodies, and somewhat relatable content.
