Bristol-based but Scottish-raised pop singer Mouse absolutely stunned us towards the end of last year with her scintillating debut single “3 Weeks”. The single featured on our Top 100 Songs of 2018 at number 50. She kicks off the new year strong with the anthemic new single “Escape” — a song written about the desire to make someone you’ve just met feel as good as they look.
Although it’s only her second single to date, the singer already has bags of experience performing at academy stages, tiny pubs and even supporting Dua Lipa, as well as having written songs since the age of 8.
Overall “Escape” gives you nostalgic vibes with it’s 80’s-feel production and Mouse’s joyous vocals. The song is inspired by Madonna’s “Like A Virgin”, she’d definitely be impressed if she heard it.
