Mother Tongues release new single “Only You” alongside accompanying music video
Toronto-based duo Mother Tongues have unveiled another offering from their forthcoming debut album Love In A Vicious Way. “Only Way”, which follows “Worm Day” and “A Heart Beating”, is a dreamy track which effortlessly combines psychedelic rock and alternative pop. The music video is a throwback to the early 2000’s arcade classic Dance Dance Revolution, a game that singer Charise Aragoza and her sibling Jay Aragoza were obsessed with in their childhood.
“The song is an ode to all the things we love about the 90s/ early 2000s. We’re hoping the Wachowskis make another Matrix sequel so we can make it onto the soundtrack.” — Lukas Cheung.
