Today, he’s unveiled his debut EP so close to ok— a self-produced project released in partnership with Atlanta-based imprint Don’t Be Greedy. The EP opens with the much-anticipated “lungs”— a hauntingly captivating post-punk anthem that sets the tone and showcases his undeniable talent and musical prowess.

The EP also features the previously released viral hit “zombie” and “dark out”, which fit perfectly with the other 3 new songs. With gut-wrenching lyricism that is both vulnerable and relatable paired with punk-fuelled production which draws influence from the 90’s, Max Fry effortlessly blends indie rock, shoegaze and punk to create one of the best and most cohesive EP’s we’ve heard in recent years.
