Brighton-based indie-pop singer-songwriter Matilda Cole shares new single “Bite Down”, taken from new EP The High Dive
Matilda Cole is one of the UK’s most promising indie-pop artists right now, the Brighton-based singer-songwriter has already picked up support from tastemakers such as The Line of Best Fit, Early Rising, CLASH, Wonderland and more in her short career. She recently dropped her second EP The High Dive, and it features the standout track “Bite Down”.
“The High Dive is the culmination of the things I’ve learnt in my last year of teenage hood. It’s the jumping off point for the rest of my life, and each song sort of represents a lesson I’ve learnt from, that I want to leave behind. I feel like a different person now, and this EP details that transition” — Matilda Cole.
Her dreamy vocals float beautifully over the captivating Mack Jamieson-produced beat— instantly connecting with listeners with its catchy melodies and its reflective, relatable songwriting.
