14 year-old Canadian newcomer Loren Aronov shares new single “Uncool”
Growing up in Toronto, singer-songwriter Loren Aronov had aspirations of becoming a pop star. She wrote and performed songs that reflected a particular identity mostly for the benefit of others. Having just turned 14, she has made the decision to stop trying to meet other people’s expectations and to instead start being honest with herself.
Her new single “Uncool” was inspired by how lonely and unwanted it felt to be the outcast among her peers at school. She displays a sincere and open-minded account of what it’s like to be a young girl through adolescence. Loren Aronov is wise beyond her years, on “Uncool” she delivers an impressive vocal performance over a stunning pop production. This is definitely worth a listen.
