Lillen Unleashes New Single “Fire”

When it comes to making great pop music, Scandinavian’s are arguably the best at that. In recent years we’ve seen meteoric rise by the likes of Zara Larsson, Lukas Graham, and many more. Let’s not forget their songwriters and producers are also amongst the best in the world, often crafting well polished radio-ready bops with some of the most infectious hooks around.

Enter LILLEN born Lill Stenberg, a Norwegian singer-songwriter based just outside of the capital city Oslo. She participated in her country’s version of The Voice in 2017, finishing 4th within her team. Although her songs on the show have amassed over a million streams online, she’s now focused on kickstarting a successful music career.

Her debut single “Fire” is an impressive track that starts off slow, then eventually grows into an anthemic powerful pop song. With it’s dark undertones, you’re slightly reminded of Amy Lee (Evanescence). Overall it’s a beautifully-sung song co-written with Simen Handeland built over a thunderous captivating production.
