Bristol-based artist Lenn releases new single “renegade”
Taken from her forthcoming EP, Bristol’s Lenn has unveiled another captivating new single, “renegade”. The production’s bass-heavy groove will most definitely strike a chord with listeners— her alluring vocals effortlessly flow over the production as she takes aim at those who choose to manipulate, gaslight and vilify their way out of addressing their own failings and insecurities.
That’s three outstanding releases in 2023, let’s hope her music starts generating some traction soon, because she’s far too good to be slept on like this.
“‘renegade’ was born out of a free therapy session with my co-writers where I could vent the frustration and helplessness I was feeling around that time. It’s a song about realising someone isn’t who you once thought they were, finally seeing the red flags that in all honesty were there from the beginning and resigning to the fact that you can’t control how someone writes you into their story. ‘renegade’ is a really important song for me and the production set the tone for the rest of the EP, stylistically.” — Lenn.
