Storied Philly rapper Kur releases new single “Seasons”
Hailing from Philadelphia, emerging rap artist Kur (pronounced core) has unleashed an explosive track accompanied by a music video directed by Terrius Mykel. The release follows his critically acclaimed 6-track EP The Hold Over which includes standout tracks such as “Road To The Riches” and “For My Fam”.
“Seasons” sees the highly-rated emerging rapper unload an unbreakable cadence of rapid fire bars over a hard-hitting production. Kur touches on his humble beginnings as well as present-day luxuries with a vivid wordplay and confessional lyrics. In an era where most rappers tend to focus on melodies instead of lyrics that will connect listeners, it’s nice to know that rappers of Kur’s calibre still exist and are still being lauded as talented.
