Today, Brixton, London-based trio kid apollo have announced their second EP u the real star here due out on 19th November via Sweat Entertainment, and have shared its second single “camera shy”.
Once again showcasing their captivating brand of lo-fi R&B, the track is about a relationship that left Jimmy second guessing and subsequently pulling in closer by the mystery. Brilliantly written with sticky melodies throughout, and built over a soft production, “camera shy” is a gorgeous track with heartfelt lyrics that will resonate with some listeners out there.
“This song’s about when you’ve met someone but for whatever reason, they just seem different to most people that you’ve met before. You never really know what they’re thinking/feeling but that’s what keeps you there in a weird way.
