UK nu-punk artist Keeper drops third single “Frog”, taken from upcoming EP Guess I’m Keeper.
Whether you love it or hate it, but punk infused with elements of rock and trap music is quietly becoming more popular in this era. Led by former members of rock, punk and metal bands, and in some cases SoundCloud rappers, this sound is here to stay so we might as well be open minded and get used to it. Another artist trying his luck with this sound is UK-based nu-punk artist Keeper, who has shared his electric new single “Frog”. Combining multiple genres such as rock, trap and punk with an emo rap delivery, the song erupts into a explosive chorus towards the end— perfect for live shows and festivals. “Frog” is the third single taken from his upcoming EP Guess I’m Keeper due out on Friday 19th March 2021.
“The song is about teamwork. When life gives you lemons, you open a lemonade stand with your mates. That although problems, upsets, and issues will always be prevalent in life, it’s through trial, perseverance, and the people around you that allow you to push through. The lessons from Pokémon basically” — Keeper.
