Brighton-based artist Kaisha drops new single “Hard To Please”
It’s been almost 3 years since we first spoke to Brighton-based artist Kaisha, and in those 3 years they have amassed over 2 million streams as an independent artist, as well as headlined shows in their hometown and London.
After selling out their show in Brighton, Kaisha has since garnered support from tastemakers across the industry including BBC Radio 1Xtra, The Independent, Rinse FM, Wonderland, Worldwide FM, Cool Hunting, BBC Introducing and more.
Their latest offering “Hard To Please” effortlessly blends soulful and modern R&B with sprinkles of pop and neo-soul, and delves into the draining experience of being in a relationship and the feeling of going around in circles with no resolution.
“It’s about being in a relationship with someone who can never be fully satisfied with anything no matter how hard you try. With people like that, you soon realise that the effort you put in is under appreciated and when that happens, you figure out they’re not all that.” — Kaisha.
