Growing up in Northern California, Kadeli had always shown interest in creating music but never had the confidence to put himself out there. However, after getting laid off during the COVID-19 pandemic, he started a YouTube channel making tech videos as the YouTube Hipyo Tech— the channel grew over 200k subscribers, this then inspired him to release music after making his first song for his channel.
