Accompanied by a striking music video directed by Sam Kinsella, London-based British-Singaporean alternative R&B artist JVSMINE has made a sensational return with new single “Forgive Me”, her first release in exactly a year.
Paired with gorgeous vocal melodies and built over a dreamy afro-beats influenced production by Luke Osborne, “Forgive Me” is an introspective and romantically bitter-sweet track about acknowledging that you don’t know how to love and reminiscing on a relationship.
“Being presented with love can really feel like holding a mirror up to yourself and to insecurities you didn’t even know you had. I wanted to write from a perspective of not knowing how to give and receive love. It’s something that everyone writes and dreams about in this society.
