Dark R&B artist Jordyne drops new EP Nocturnal
Born in Pennsylvannia, emerging artist Jordyne is known for his dark melodic music which infuses trap, R&B and hip-hop. Some of his memorable hits includes the dark trap banger “Wolves” and the vibrant “Deja Vu”.
Having generated a lot of traction in the past 18 months, he spent the majority of 2022 quietly working on new music. And today he’s unveiled his new 5-track EP Nocturnal, which is led by its first single “Drifting”, a captivating collaboration with dark R&B duo Ja¥en x District.
Overall, it’s a solid project where he showcases his growing horizons as songwriter, as well as his ability to create sticky melodies which effortlessly flow over moody beats to create an infectious night vibe. He’s at his very best on the standout track “Hollow”, a trap-infused banger which features clever lines like ‘I’m running around with a halo, but I’m a demon when I’m not’, sounds like it would go off in an underground club or on a late night drive. If you’re a fan of Darci, Chase Atlantic, 12AM, 11 LIT3S and Always Never, you’re going to love Jordyne.
