Izzy S.O — Suddenly It’s Easy

London-based alternative artist Izzy S.O releases “Suddenly It’s Easy”, the final track from new EP Homesick

Hailing from the West Midlands and currently based in London, Izzy S.O is quickly establishing herself as a standout artist in the UK’s alternative music scene. Today, she’s back with “Suddenly It’s Easy”, the final track from her new EP, Homesick.

“Suddenly It’s Easy” is a raw and honest exploration of Izzy S.O’s more turbulent times, infused with a nostalgic flair reminiscent of Avril Lavigne’s Let Go era. The track combines the essence of early 2000s pop-rock with a contemporary twist, enhanced by subtle grunge influences. This fusion creates a powerful connection for both millenials who grew up with Lavigne’s anthems and Gen Z listeners seeking new, emotionally-charged and relatable music.

I have struggled with OCD since I was about thirteen, it made me feel like I needed to be perfect and it added a lot of pressure to things that I could have enjoyed had they not been clouded by the OCD part of my brain that feels the need to control everything. ‘Suddenly it’s Easy’ is about finding the space to breathe, finding the space to enjoy my life – it’s about being free of the idea that I need to be perfect and just trusting that things are going to be ok.”Izzy S.O.
