Every single woman needs to be and should be celebrated and appreciated every single day, not just on International Women’s Day. Why? Because women have the ability to nurture, bless, heal, encourage and inspire. Women have also worked tirelessly to shape our world into what it is today. One day is not enough to recognise and celebrate their accomplishments, as well as acknowledging their struggle as well. Women deserve to be treated as equal as men— in all fields.
In music, there’s so many amazing women creating great music that continue to go unnoticed. Women are still being overlooked at certain festivals. Want to know a secret? Women make better music than men, and that’s a fact.
