Los Angeles-based Icon South is known for his production skills, having worked with the likes of Trippie Redd, Young Money and a plethora of talented up and coming artists. Recently, the multi-talented musician has developed into a respectable artist with two melodious singles (“Rolling Paper”and “Lay Low”) where he effortlessly showcases his songwriting and singing ability . His new single “Freeze” is a collaboration with Canadian artist Its92, an exciting emerging artist who we discovered last month after stumbling on the captivating and hauntingly beautiful single “Cocaine Stains”.
Blending hip-hop and R&B over an atmospheric production on “Freeze”, the pair shine throughout without a misstep as they deliver an excellent collaboration with plenty of replay value. Expect big things from these two in 2020.
