Humane The Moon — I Saw A Dog

Emerging East London artist Humane The Moon unveils new single “I Saw A Dog”

Rising East London-based artist Humane The Moon is back with another brilliant track, “I Saw A Dog”, the second single taken from his forthcoming debut EP Mythomania.

Seamlessly blending indie, rock and elements of punk rap, the Courage-produced track details the beauty of the small things in life.

“Like most these tracks on the project, I wrote the lyrics for ‘I saw a dog’ on my way from work; In Bermondsey this time, emergency lighting for the council. Driving back in that 5pm January darkness, at the lights I saw someone knelt by their dog smiling. I found myself smiling at the sight of it. (I was going through it a bit at the time to be honest, mourning the passing of my beloved uncle amongst other things.) It was a glimpse of joy, brief but meaningful I reckon. The songs a to and from conversation on this topic, ‘What’s the point in all this trying? I’ll tell you for why, in time.’ It might be an attempt at acceptance of the transience of life, or it might just be a song about dogs.”Humane The Moon.
