Honeypuppy release new single “DIRTY TV”
Athens, GA-based four-piece Honeypuppy—comprising Josie Callahan (guitar, lead vocals), Adam Wayton (bass), Will Wise (lead guitar), and Jack Colclough (percussion)—make a stunning DNü debut with their new single “DIRTY TV”.
Accompanied by a music video, this track layers modern indie sensibilities with a nostalgic, vintage twist. Callahan’s sweetly nostalgic lyrics, almost as if lifted from a 1973 Zenith television manual, mesh seamlessly with a howling steel guitar hook and a barrage of sounds and samples. The result is utterly captivating, keeping listeners on edge until the very end.
Marking the second collaboration with Neil Golden (formerly of The Glands)—his contribution of organ and synth adds a cinematic feel that intensifies the already electrifying rhythm and raw guitar energy. Effortlessly blending elements of shoegaze, indie rock, and dream pop, “DIRTY TV” is a refreshing, genre-blending listening experience with multi-generational appeal—an overall stunning track that feels both nostalgic and brand new.
