LA-based multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and filmmaker Holly Blair makes an impressive DNü debut with her latest single, “Line Again”, a standout track from her newly released EP Then Comes The Lightning. Built over a rich, guitar-driven soundscape and written by Holly in her most honest state, the track is one of her first self-produced tracks to be released, portraying an ugly dynamic of heartbreak, grief, jealous and addiction
“It was written during a pretty turbulent period in my life, in what felt like a massive period of contraction in terms of my relationship to self. There’s a lot of heartbreak in the EP but also a lot of playfulness too and just sort of observation of self and the world around me, and I feel like it marks a time in my life when I finally began to see clearly.” — Holly Blair.
