Australian pop artist Holiday Sidewinder releases new single “Crystal Bay”
If ever there was an artist whose name matched the sound of their art, Holiday Sidewinder is the perfect example. Having recently cut her teeth supporting popstar-of-the-moment Sophie Ellis-Bextor on tour, the Australian-born artist Holiday Sidewinder is gearing up for her big pop girl moment with the release of third album The Last Resort, which promises to be a tropical cocktail of sophisti-drop-top-yacht-pop.
“Crystal Bay”, the next single to be lifted from it, exudes a sun-soaked feeling with a collision of synthesisers and disco influences; a harder-edged sound comes from the glam rock guitars which thrash during the songs’ climax.
