HEX — RAGE & EMOTION [EP]

Nottingham’s HEX showcases his versatility on debut EP RAGE & EMOTION

Known for his auto-tuned vocals, unforgettable melodies and wavy style, Nottingham’s HEX has been quietly dropping hits these past 12 months, with “Millennium” garnering support from respected tastemaker dynmk. He’s made a solid return today with his debut EP RAGE & EMOTION. The EP illustrates his abilities in rapping, singing, songwriting and combining different sounds that sets him apart from the rest.

HEX borrows familiar sounds from artists such as Yeat, Lil Uzi Vert and SoFaygo, while adding his own melodic touch throughout and even tapping into some drill-infused cuts such as “Matrix” and “A Good Time Not A Long Time” — two standout tracks that you’ll most probably have on repeat. Spanning five unique tracks, his rap-sung vocals effortlessly flow over hard-hitting beats which fit the current soundscape. HEX does a brilliant job mixing his vocal stylings to deliver a deep yet exciting combination of songs with bouncy melodies that sound energetic with melancholic undertones.
