HEN$HAW — SITTIN’ IN THE DARK [EP]

London-based rapper HEN$HAW unveils visuals for focus track “MAD!”, taken from debut EP SITTIN’ IN THE DARK which is out today

The much-anticipated debut EP SITTIN’ IN THE DARK by London-based emerging rapper HEN$HAW gives listeners a glimpse of his turbulent life and career as an aspiring rap artist, covering issues like anxiety, sadness, grief, and addiction.

SITTIN’ IN THE DARK is an 8 track EP built over ominous beats, mostly produced by goodbyechase and 42CLO (“SITTIN” IN THE DARK”), paired with bleak lyrical content and emotional undertones, and is led by promotional songs “WHY?!”, “DIE ALONE” featuring tmdistant, and “NOBODY”. The album’s final song, “HOLE” is powerful, poignant, and its lyrics stirs emotions.

The 21-year-old Camden rapper only knows one way to deal with the agony and loss of losing his mother and, most recently, his granddad in the previous 12 months, and that is through making music. On his debut EP, he bares his soul, further establishing him as one of the UK’s best up-and-coming rap artists.

Focus track and soon-to-be fan favourite “MAD!” features a striking black and white music video shot around the Worlds End Estate in Chelsea, London by friends BVDLVD and Sarashots.
