HEN$HAW faces loneliness on new single “NOBODY”
London-based rapper HEN$HAW continues his theme of isolation and loneliness with his emotionally-charged new single “NOBODY”. Combining emo rap with elements of breakbeat, the 21 year-old faces his deepest emotions as he bares his soul with lyrics that will resonate with people who feel lonely even when surrounded by a crowd. “NOBODY” is the third single taken from his forthcoming debut EP SITTIN’ IN THE DARK, which is due out next month.
The accompanying music video shot by Sorin D Visuals, and directed by his manager, captures the feeling of loneliness well. HEN$HAW headlines Colours Hoxton on Wednesday 10th August. Tickets available here.
“‘NOBODY’ was written about feeling alone, even in the company of your close friends / family, it touches on what it’s like for me to feel like a forgettable face and not feel like the confident person I can be. Picture yourself at a party, it’s coming to the end of the night and you feel like you are the only one who knows you’re there, to me, this song perfectly captures this moment.” — HEN$HAW.
