Canada continues to bless us with amazing artists, Toronto-based singer-songwriter Gen is ready to break into the music scene with her stunning emotionally driven debut single “Damage”. Combining contemporary R&B and moody pop, the Ottawa native delivers a raw and authentic sound true to her own style. Lyrically, the song details letting a toxic ex go after an unhealthy relationship, a relatable topic which most listeners will be able to relate to. Beautifully written and sung with so much emotion, Gen’s breathtaking voice makes this song a pleasant listen.
