Fresh Sounds [09/07/2021]

It’s New Music Friday — our favourite day of the week! Below are some of our favourite new releases of the week. Check it out and make sure you’re following our main playlist THE NÜ.

Johan Lenox x Kevin George — World On Fire

On paper, a Johan Lenox and Kevin George collaboration is definitely capable of setting the world on fire— pun absolutely intended. However, we weren’t expecting this collaboration to be this amazing. Both artists deliver excellent vocal performances (Johan’s voice keeps getting better and better), and the production itself, wow, is outstanding. Stream the album here.

BRIDGE — My Last

Criminally-underrated LA-based singer, songwriter and producer BRIDGE is back with another gorgeous single. Stunning vocals and a solid production, he never misses.

Zeina — Talk Luv

Canadian singer-songwriter Zeina is on the rise, and we love to see it. “Talk Luv” is another captivating R&B track with late night vibes. Those vocals, wow. Don’t sleep on her.

saüd x pre kai ro — Dance Alone

saüd and pre kai ro have delivered a captivating track which effortlessly combines UK Garage and alternative R&B. Perfect song to dance to this weekend wherever you are.

Eli Moon — Cocaine Dreamer

Another underrated artist, and one of London’s best kept secret, Eli Moon returns with the gorgeous “Cocaine Dreamer”. Let’s hope he drops more music this year.

Teflon Sega — Patience

Although “Patience” has been previously released on YouTube, the mysterious Teflon Sega finally uploaded it to streaming platforms, and it’s another dark R&B masterpiece.

INAS x Sidxkick — Dance With Me

If you’ve been following us over the years, then you know just how much we love the amazing INAS. She’s back with another dark collaboration with producer Sidxkick. “Dance With Me”, tops one of their previous collaborations “L”, a song which played a huge part in our development as a music platform. This is perfect for underground club nights.
