Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter and producer Dutch Melrose shares new single “Thinking”
Despite all his success as an independent artist, there’s still little information about emerging artist Dutch Melrose online. With over 2.5 million streams worldwide and captivating releases in the past few years, Melrose is the definition of an underrated artist, or as some of may say, slept on artist. He crafts dark moody but yet commercially appealing music that sits somewhere between alternative pop and alternative R&B.
He’s had a fantastic 2021 thus far, consistently releasing captivating singles such as our current song of the year “Lucky Strike” and “Gasoline & Flowers”— don’t be surprised to see his name more than once on our end of year lists. His latest offering “Thinking” is another stunning track built over a solid production which effortlessly combines hip-hop, electronic and pop to create a bouncy beat capable of making you bop your head. It’s a well-written song filled with catchy vocal melodies throughout.
