Cloe Wilder releases “Fake ID”, second single off upcoming EP
17-year-old singer-songwriter Cloe Wilder recently released “Fake ID”, the second single taken from her forthcoming EP which is due out later this year. Accompanied by a visually compelling music video directed by Jesse DeFlorio, and laced with captivating melodies, the track explores the narrative of teenage rebellion through its insightful lyrics.
With this latest release, Wilder continues to showcase her artistic depth, setting the stage for an EP that promises rich exploration of themes and emotion.
“When I turned 17, I thought it was time to get a fake ID. It was my only ever act of rebellion. I wanted to write a little story around it. For the most part, it’s a real thing that ended up happening in my life, but I think the whole song more represents my timeline of being 17. I knew that I wanted the Fake ID music video to be a little unhinged, while still relating to myself. Jesse DeFlorio directed it and I think we got exactly that. I haven’t been arrested, but I have been questioned by multiple bouncers!” — Cloe Wilder.
