The UK’s biggest and most exciting artist within the trap metal genre BVDLVD unleashes new single “TREAT YOU”, taken from his upcoming album Lunatic.
As humans we often disagree on things and even fall out, but what hurts the most is falling out with someone you considered as family and someone who looked up to you. In recent months I’ve learned a lot about myself and made considerable changes to better myself. Being stubborn is a weakness and I was too blind to see that rising talent BVDLVD had what it takes to be placed amongst some of the most exciting and refreshing new acts out there.
His latest offering “TREAT YOU” was released on my birthday, the same day his Lil Darkie-assisted single “PUNK!” surpassed 1 million streams on Spotify, and it was only right I congratulated him and squashed any sort of ‘beef’ we previously had. The only way is up from now on and I’m excited to see where this young man takes his sound.
Producer Homele$$ brings back nostalgic vibes on the impressive “TREAT YOU” which briefly takes me back to one of my favourite eras of music — when nu metal ruled the world. Add the bouncy and heavily distorted trap beat and BVD’s emotionally-driven vocal performance, this is arguably his best release since the aggressive banger “(DON’T) LOOK AT ME”. His upcoming album LUNATIC which features collaborations with artists such as Jasiah, Lil Darkie and HEN$HAW drops on 27th May.
