Ben Maclean Links Up With HEN$HAW For New Song “Rose”

Ben Maclean links up with HEN$HAW for new song “Rose”, his first release of the year.

Hailing from Market Harborough, Leicestershire singer, songwriter and producer Ben Maclean has built a loyal following in his hometown thanks to his impressive genre-bending music which has often been met with a warm reception. Having moved down South to the Greater London area towards the end of 2019, the 19 year-old artist and producer has been experimenting with new sounds, and his new single “Rose” effortlessly infuses UK drill with undertones of alternative R&B. The single co-produced with Redfern also features an explosive guest verse by HEN$HAW, who gives the track a gritty vibe with potent imagery and clever wordplay. With its catchy hook and its energetic vibe, “Rose” places Ben Maclean amongst some of the best emerging acts based in the UK.

“I’m hoping this song is going to widen my audience of people listening to the message of my music. I hit a big reset button a few months ago and now we’re working our way back, organically. This song is gonna be my re-introduction into my music, so people hear what my sound really is now. I think a lot of people are going to be very surprised what we’ve got coming on, and that fits well with me” — Ben Maclean.
