Northern Irish artist Bea Stewart releases new single “Ice Cream in the Rain”
Born and raised outside Belfast, Northern Ireland, singer-songwriter Bea Stewart is influenced by the Irish folk music she grew up around. Today, she makes her DNü debut with her brilliant new single “Ice Cream in the Rain”, which is taken from her debut EP Things We Never Say Out Loud.
Released during Dementia Action Week and to promote the work of Alzheimer’s Society and Dementia UK, the emotionally-driven track finds Bea barring her soul as she expresses her sadness at her beloved grandfather’s battle with the disease. It’s such a moving song that will instantly connect with listeners from all walks of life. The track was co-written with and produced by Eliot James (Two Door Cinema Club, Noah & The Whale), and is accompanied by a heartwarming music video directed by Marieke Macklon and starring Billie and Dolly Gadsdon (Rogue One, Cruella) and Stephen Atkins.
