ASHS Returns With New Single “Don’t Call Me”

Mysterious dark pop artist ASHS returns with new single “Don’t Call Me”, accompanied by a music video.

After teasing the music video on her socials with iconic moments from some of her favourite horror films, the enigmatic Canadian artist ASHS has finally unveiled her latest single “Don’t Call Me” accompanied by a music video inspired by classic horror films such as Scream, When A Stranger Calls and Freddy Krueger and sends a message with a hint of gore and suspense.

The song itself is an unforgiving anthem to exes looking for a second chance and is a message of empowerment to anyone that’s been haunted by a past relationship. Built over an 80’s inspired pop production with dark synths, her smoky vocals once again shine as she delivers a warning that will scare F boys and protect her heart from any future heartbreaks.

Writing “Don’t Call Me” was a therapeutic experience. It was me being confident enough in my growth to say, “if you change your mind, keep it to yourself.” I wanted to make the video as bold as the statement. I thought of the most extreme phone call I would never want to get, and ran with that, allowing myself to be a teeny bit vengeful. Okay, maybe more than a teeny bit” — ASHS.
